Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer disease, on Monday, April 7, 2014, Muriel Thompson (née Wagner), in her 85th year, beloved wife of 55 years of Ross WatsonThompson of Orangeville, formerly of Caledon East. Cherished mother of four daughters and adored grandmother of ten grandchildren; Peggy and Craig Savage of Bradford and their children Adyson, Daniel Brooks and Thomas Brooks; Jennifer and Richard Evans of Bracebridge and their children Ryan, Rachel and Rebecca; Nancy Thompson and Joe Saldua of Brampton and their children Olivia and Alex; Claire and Neil Mullen of Toronto and their children Corsica and Glen Ross.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Tuesday evening 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, April 9 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Spring interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. If desired, memorial donations may be made the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Canadian Cancer Society. I was going through old letters today when I found a Christmas letter from 2003. Decided to google and found this about Cousin Muriel. We are living full time in the Florida house with our 7 children adopted from foster care We would love to hear from any of you if you find the time.
