June 3, 1951 – January 26, 2015
Peacefully at her home, the Lord took into His eternal glory on Monday, January 26, 2015, Minnie Kamphuis, beloved wife of almost 40 years of Jake Kamphuis. Loving mother of Kim and Anthony Vis, Jocelyn and Gerard Kottelenberg, Jon and Nicole Kamphuis, Kristin and Graham Trafford, Jennica and Ryan Doan. Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews. Survived by her mother-in-law Roely Kamphuis.
The family will receive their friends at the Canadian Reformed Church, 55 C Line, Orangeville on Wednesday afternoon 1 – 3 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the church on Thursday, January 29 at one o’clock. Spring interment Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Sincerest condolences to you all. I remember MInnie from the short time I was in Orangeville. Despite a full load of teaching, she still opened her heart and home to us regularly for dinner. I have fond memories of those days….you were a wonderful family to be a part of. May God be near to you all and grant you His comfort and peace.

I remember the time that we met each other. It’s stil long ago. Always a warm welcome in your house.

We didn’t know Millie very well but every time we saw her she welcomed us like we were family. She would take us into her home, cook for us, and serve us like we were her closest friends. She was a wonderful example of God’s love, and a truly amazing women. We know she will be incredibly missed by all who met her and heaven has certainly gained a great treasure.

My condolences with the whole family. She will,be greatly missed. She was such a kind, caring and loving person. I will cherish the memories I have of her. Still so thankful of her and her family and how accepting they were when I moved to Orangeville. Always made sure I had a place to go on Sundays for lunch between church.
