Karen, Valerie, Dennis and Jeanne –

I was deeply saddened to learn of Roy’s passing. I know how dear he was to all of you. To Know Roy was a blessing. He was so kind, sweet and thoughtful – a true gentleman.
I will always remember one night, before he moved back to Orangeville, when he asked me to go to the track with him. He had worked out his strategy and so wanted me to win. He hoped for us to hit a triactor and insisted on betting right up to the 10th race. He was so disappointed about our luck. His companionship and sense of humour really touched me and will cherish the memories that he left.
May God bless your families during this time and always,
Michelle Boyce

My family had moved to Mill Street in Orangeville in 1966 when I was 13.. My first real chum lived across the street, and it wasn’t long til Rex introduced me to the rest of his family. I enjoyed my time at their home very much.
I recall our going to the farm with Roy. What I noticed immediately was his gentle and kind ways. He had a smile that showed his love for his family.
