Suddenly, at home in Brampton, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Loving husband of Terri Wyllie; step dad to Loki Enlil and Brittany Wyllie-Stevens; companion to their beloved dog, Amber. Son of Dr. POG Butler of Ottawa. Predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Mary Butler nee Brooks. Brother of Patrick Butler of Terrace, BC and Rob Butler of Horseshoe Valley. Uncle to Andrew and Liz Butler, Bronwen Foster-Butler, Jennifer Chicoine, Michael Butler and Samantha Hassan. Great Uncle to eight great nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to William and Teresa Wyllie of Blackstock, David and Ine Wyllie of Oshawa. Uncle to Gerrit and Lukas Wyllie of Oshawa, Miranda Oppers of Oshawa and Erin Wyllie of Mackenzie, BC. Son-in-law to Norma Wyllie of Oshawa and Ric and Karen Sheridan of Enfield.
Born July 29, 1964 in Toronto, Miles attended Humberside Collegiate where he began his career as an electrician and electrical designer by helping Miss Keele with the lighting for her school musical productions. Largely self-taught Miles became an Industrial Electrician and Electrical Designer who developed a successful career in industrial automation with several companies.

Condolences for the family of “Miles Butler”
It was a real shock to hear of Miles passing.
He was one of the best controls programmers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
He will be sorely missed by his peers.

My condolences to the entire family. He was an amazing person. I was fortunate enough to work with Miles on automation applications on several occasions. There was never an issue he could not over come. He will be greatly missed.
sorry to hear about Miles. I remember working with Elizabeth at Sick Kids in the 1960’s. We have many fond memories of all the Butlers.
We were deeply saddened to hear about Miles’s passing. We will always remember the times Miles came to Kingston to celebrate Christmas or just to visit. He had a wonderful smile and enjoyed being with his nieces, Jennie and Sam, and Michael, his nephew. May Miles rest in peace.

Condolences to the whole family.
I went to HCI with Miles. As a matter of fact, we had been looking for him, unsuccessfully for several years as our class reunions started.
We were unable to find him and sadly, this is the first.
I am so glad that he got married and had a nice life. It is hard keeping in touch with more then 200 people.
So so sorry to hear of his passing. He was far too young.
Miles was always such a great friend . We went to Runnymede and HCI together. He had such an inquisitive mind and was always prepared to ask the questions we were afraid to ask. I have often used Miles as an example of an exemplary student. I am so sorry that we were never able to connect again after HCI. I am so happy to know that he went on the have a wonderful career and family. He will be truly missed. My condolences for your loss.
I confirmed of your Passing with Terri Miles in Oct if 2030. You were a great humble, very patient Man. Hard working and always looking out for those. I’m sure your resting peacefully in heaven. A life taken too soon.
