Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Saturday, May 19, 2018, Mildred Irene Bowyer Oursler, in her 99th year, beloved wife of the late Charles Bowyer and Doyle Oursler. Loving mother of Harold and Ann, Ronald and Celia, Elaine and Arnold, Stephen and Susan. Proud Grandma of 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Dear sister of David Silk and predeceased by six siblings.
The family will receive their friends at Caledon Hills Fellowship Baptist Church, 16591 Airport Road, Caledon East on Saturday morning, May 26 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service at 12 o’clock.
Following a reception at the church, private family interment Pine Orchard Friends Cemetery, 2684 Vivian Road, Newmarket.

On behalf of the Caledon East Seniors, I would like to offer our condolences and sympathy to all members of Millie’s family. She was a wonderful, happy person who loved the few pleasures in life including her Wednesday’s outing to the Caledon Community Centre. She will be missed by all her friends here, but knowing she is in a better place is very comforting to all of us.
On behalf of Caledon Hills Fellowship we express our love and sympathy to all of you in Millie’s extended clan. Be assured of our prayers for you all and especially in anticipation of the funeral service. Millie’s candid faith in Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, was unmistakable. I pray that the hand of Jesus, the hand that will one day wipe away every tear from the eyes of his own, will reach down bringing you peace, tender comfort, and a living hope. Blessings, in Jesus’ name.
My deepest condolences to Arn & Elaine and the rest of the family. May God be ever so present with you all during this time. Hugs and prayers to you all.

Pat and I were saddened to hear of Mildred’’s passing. At this time our hope and strength is in the Lord. Trust in Him, the one who is our source of comfort and meaning.

The news of Millie’s passing sure was sad . When I first joined the Caledon East Euchre club it was Millie and Elaine who made me feel so welcome not only the first time but each & every time. It was so easy to come to love these two. Millie had told me at one point that she loved me. (was so nice to hear and she heard that she was loved too). We have missed Elaine for several months now as she deals with daily issues around her family and now Millie will be missed too. Her service was very touching, so inspiring. The love towards the Lord was so noticeable by the family & friends of all ages. I left with a great feeling!! Millie’s message came through very clearly through Elaine’s demonstration of “the gift”. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people. I don’t have too many words but have deepest condolences. I am thinking of you Elaine & Family. Rest Peacefully Millie… <3
