I’m so sorry to hear about Meta. I had the privilege of getting to know and love Meta at Dr. Bodok’s office where I was secretary for a number of years. She always made the best cookies and rum balls which we delighted in having as a treat! She was truly a fine lady and will be sorely missed I am sure. Please accept mine and my families sincere condolences and know that she is with God and not in any pain.

Dear former neighbours. I am so sorry to hear about Meta’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Periodically I have thought of you all since I moved from beside you. I have wonderful memories of Meta working in her garden, having tea or coffee, playing tennis. She was a great neighbour. I know that she and her “Kenny” are now together. I consider myself very lucky to have had her, and all of you, as a neighbour.

I have only fond memories of “Aunt Meta” from growing up near her and “Uncle Audi”. I would frequently walk through her property on my way to visit with my friends, Heidi and Andreas. When she had mail, I would bring it up, and she would always have me in for a chat and a small snack or candy. I’m glad that she lived a long life filled with love from her family and to see it from others around her.
