Peacefully at Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie on Thursday, June 22, 2023, Mary Sandor, at the age of 85 years, beloved wife of the late Karoly (Charlie) Sandor. Loving mother of Charles, Peter, and Steven. Cherished grandmother of Kristin, Shannon, Michelle, Tate, and Nico. Dear sister of Andrew Kosztandy, Stephen and Mary (deceased) Kosztandy.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday, July 5th from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at one o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

To Peter, Charlie and Steven, our condolences to you and your families. We came to know Mary when she worked at the Canada Trust Bank in the early 1980’s. Our contact was limited but it was for years every week as we banked there. Her friendliness and kind demeanor left a permanent memory of her to us we have not forgotten. May your memories give you all peace and comfort.
The loss of your mother has saddened our entire family. She was such a dear friend to my mother Patricia and she held a special place in our hearts. We hope the precious memories you have will help you through this challenging time.
I have very fond memories of Aunt Mary, a truly special lady. I remember summer days at her pool, her delicious cooking and her kind, friendly manner. I loved reading her stories and learning of her childhood in Hungary.

Mary was a special person with a wonderful smile. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Pat who I know misses her deeply.
