So sorry to hear about the loss of Marion. She was a wonderful lady.
My Mom, Gloria and I send our deepest condolences.
We treasure our memories of happy days at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Thistletown.
So pleased that we got to see you both last year at the St. Andrew’s Day lunch.
I’m sorry that we won’t be able to be at the funeral but we will be thinking of you.
Dear Mike, Steve, Brian & Kathy,
It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences today. I loved Aunt Marion very much, I know that she wasn’t really my aunt, but we grew up with all of you. I can’t believe it, I am 61 years old now, and that seems an awfully long time but we really do share this much history. Kind of extraordinary – don’t you think. I am not sure I have known anyone else as long? But, about Aunt Marion, I will never forget how warm and wonderful she appeared to us as children. She was always there with a big kiss, and open arms, and a warm embrace. It felt special to be around her because she was so enthusiastic in her welcome. This was how she always was to me – whether I was 5 or 32 or 54 or the last time I saw her at my own mother’s funeral. I am sorry I am not in Ontario right now or I would come and visit and I would offer you all in turn the same big hugs that she gave us. Much love and my deepest sympathies, Jo-Ann and Brian (he is out of town right now but I know he feels the same way as I do)
May your fond and happy memories sustain your family at this time. Marion will be missed at the Seniors Centre.
