Condolences for the family of “Marilyn Louise Lytle”

Condolence from Bill Jonkman on August 29th, 2021 9:47 pm

Marilyn was a great women! She was instrumental part of a very large village that raised your kids. All through my children’s younger years she drove to our house in the rain and snow everyday and watched Janet’s and my children while we were at work. She was guardian of kids, chief cook, laundry guru and supporter of your lives! Everyday “Grandma L” would have the laundry and house work done and dinner started (Inside joke my kids will always have a special place in their heart for grandma L’s Rosemary chicken!). We couldn’t have done what we did without Marilyn and Don in your lives.
Marilyn always called me the best $750 she every spent. Only a few people will get that reference and anyone that wants the answer to that riddle ask Janet. LOL.
A great woman, not always perfect but none of us are! But always a person that you could count for strength and honour.
Love her son in law, Bill

Condolence from Cathy Campbell on August 30th, 2021 2:23 pm

Peter and I were so sorry Don to hear of your loss. We never knew Marilyn well as our connections with you these many years have been through the Auxiliary. Whenever we did meet her with you I was always touched by her energy and interest in others. Please extend our condolences to all of your wonderfully large family. Being the Matriarch of such an extensive group was I am sure met with her greatest outpouring of care and joy. May she rest in peace. Fondly, Peter and Cathy Campbell.
