We are sorry to hear of the news of Auntie Marilyn, I have many great memories of her, the parties we used to have in their basements when we were kids, how my Mom and Dad (Art and Joyce) used to love the Irish songs we would sing, the sleepovers, and the good old green frosting on the cakes. HaHa.
I will always keep these memories with me and hope her family does to. Our thoughts are with you all.
Love
Brenda

Dear Uncle Dave & Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Auntie Marilyn’s passing and know she will be sadly missed. Hopefully the wonderful memories of her will help ease the pain of her loss in time. I have many happy childhood memories of times spent with the Hunters tobogganing at the old house, bbqs., summer vacation at Restoule Lake, and always the many Christmas parties and other parties. It is unfortunate we have not seen each other as much in recent years but know that we too feel her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle Dave, and the whole family.
Love Lori, Frank & Family

We are so sorry to here about Aunt Marilyn. Her optimistic attitude, always smiling, saying a kind word to everyone, calling Dave an “Old Poop” with adoration and affection. Most of all I remember how much she loved her Family. Always talking about you all with pride, love and happiness. There was no doubt she loved and was loved. She will be terribly missed. Our deepest condolences.

Condolence from Wendy & Tom Blackwood on August 27th, 2012 9:08 pm

Dear Uncle Dave & Family
Both Tom and I wish to offer you our deepest sympathies and prayers at this time. Auntie Marilyn was a truly special woman with much love for you Uncle Dave and her family. I have very special memories of her from childhood and I remember the joy the three sisters had in getting together for the campside sing-a-longs. She had an indominatable spirit with which she fought this disease right up until the end. As years have passed we have not been able to get together as much as we would have like to, but she will always be remembered by us in the fondest way. Marilyn and Joyce will be up their singing “Show me the Way to Go Home” as loud as can be. Love always Tom and Wendy

After the fact I noticed this obituary of Marilyn and was very
saddened. Marilyn was my secretary in the 80’s at Globe
She was a pleasure to be around and her passing will be
a big loss.
