Glenn, Yvonne. Dale and Mark. I have such fond memories of your mother and father – at church, in the community- always with a friendly greeting to me ( and others). Both of your parents loved to laugh, both of them had such great love for you! And love continues- even after physical death as Paul writes to the Corinthians: ” love is patient, love is kind… Love never ends” . While each of us misses our respective parents who have passed on, we are so fortunate to have been loved and continue to be loved by them. I was very sad to hear of the passing of Marie and I am sure that her,s and Merv,s passing are something that you will never really get over. I suppose the only consolation is that as time passes the sorrow will be replaced by happy memories and that now merv and marie are together again and like my mother and father are probably bickering back and forth and things are for them as they should be.

I am so sorry not to have got in for the visitation. I did go to Egan’s Friday afternoon but had not noticed it didn’t start until 5 p.m. We had family visitors that evening and I wasn’t able to stay. My thoughts have been with you – to lose your mother so soon after your father must have been a blow.
