Peacefully, at Bethell House, Inglewood, on Saturday, April 9, 2011, Maria Hajdukewycz, in her 55th year, beloved wife of Jerry Hajdukewycz, Bolton. Loving mother of Andrei, Natalie and Michelle. Dear daughter of Huguette and the late Enrico Bignoli, Tilsonburg. Dear sister of Giovanni and Patricia Bignoli.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday, April 19 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. then leaving for Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church Albion, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon East, at 10 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.
A reception will be held at the Egan Funeral Home following the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Caledon Foundation, Bethell House, P.O. Box 75, Inglewood L7C 3L6.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Maria’s passing. Although I haven’t seen the family for some time, I know of the great dedication and devotion by Maria to her family. My daughter Marina was with Natalie during the school years at elementary and art school. Maria will remain always a very fine person in my heart. I will not be able to attend because I will not be in the country, but I share the family’s sorrow for the loss of a beautiful person.
Maria was a warm, wise and courageous person & I feel enriched for having known her. I wish Jerry, Andrei, Natalie and Michelle, Giovanni and Patricia, as well as Huguette, the strength to go forward and the joy arising out of the memories created over years of living close to such a lovely person.
