Peacefully at The Davis Centre, Bolton on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, Maria Barros at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Jose Barros. Cherished sister of Joao Arantes Araujo Malheiro (deceased), Manuel Arantes Malheiro (deceased), Constantino de Arantes Araujo Malheiro (deceased), Profirio Abreu Araujo Malheiro, Joaquim Arantes Malheiro, Jose Arantes Malheiro (deceased), and sister Helena Arantes Malheiro Machado Pinto. Maria was a devoted aunt to her nephews Joao Malheiro and Jose Malheiro, and her niece Nancy Malheiro, who supported her greatly for the last 30 years while she was here in Canada.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday, January 4 from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. Maria’s final resting place will be in Pico de Regalados, Portugal.
