At Bough Beeches Place, Mississauga, with family and friends at her side, on Friday, March 18, 2011, Margaret Jean Allan, beloved wife of the late Willem Smid, Erin. Dear mother of Hugh, Adrienne, Michele and her husband Brent Dubek. Loving grandmother of Courtney, Sarah and Ryan. Cherished great-grandmother of Willem. Dear sister of David and Graham Allan, both deceased and Elizabeth Nock. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday evening 7-9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, March 22 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation. I’m presently in Africa , and simply cant be there ..We grew apart ..but once we were one ..We were family ..and Auntie Marge was a huge part ..Times gone by ..Never forgottten ..always cherrished ..My heart felt condolences ..Deep felt , go to you all ..at this time of your sorrow and loss

My condolences for the loss of your mother. A great woman indeed with an amazing sense of humour.
She was at Bough Beeches for a long time and touched the hearts of so many staff and Residents. A part of Bough Beeches has gone with her. Many of us have memories that will last a life time.
She touched my heart in more ways then one, I will definitely miss her.
She is now in a better place, and will be watching over her children, grandchildren, and great grandson.
The staff at Bough Beeches pass on their thoughts and prayers for you entire family.
