So sad to hear of “Maggie’s passing. My sister Mary loved your Mother as a neighbour and friend. They were always there for each other. Over the years because of Mary we were afforded the pleasure of knowing Maggie also. My name is Pat and I am Mary’s sister. Many occasions found us in each other’s company. The last time I saw Maggie was at Mary’s memorial.. All the trials of this life try to take us away from the gift of making life a privilege, to be shared by all . Maggie never wavered in being kind and giving. The world was a better place because Maggie was in it. Now heaven rejoices in receiving one of its members back . My sister and I had the rare good fortune to grow up on an old fashioned street where families made important and lifelong friendships.

Mrs. Maggie Frank became the best of friends with our mother Mary Harker, as well as to both Wendy and I.

It is so sad for us to say good bye to such a devoted, generous, and caring elder woman in our lives. She reached out to care for so many.

We have such fond memories of our youth. And we know that the party at “Dittmer Acres in the Sky” got a lot more fun the day Maggie walked through the door.

Warm thoughts and condolences to Ron, Linda and Joanne on the loss of your mom. Fortunately we have arrived back in Canada in time for the Memorial Service tomorrow.

I am one of Margie’s cousins who saw her much more when we were all very young than I have recently. We spent many happy summers in our youth at Bona Vista or at our Grandparents place on Trout Lake, Win Haven. You may not know that your mom, grandmother and great grandmother used to sleep in a tent, sing songs late at night around the camp fire, and swim and canoe for hours every day. Our grandparents Thomas and Gertrude Winters had a very bit impact on our growing up and in keeping us together as cousins.

It will be good seeing some of you again, and meeting some for the first time. Your cousin, Max Beck

What a beautiful, joyful, uplifting funeral celebration of Maggie’s life well lived. Thank you to the Frank family and to the Egan funeral home for making us feel so welcome. Our dear Mrs. Frank would have been so proud. I loved seeing you all again. You are a wonderful family.
