The world is a sadder place today.

 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lynda Ewing at her daughter’s home, with her family by her side, after a long and brave battle with cancer, on Friday, February 13, 2009, at the age of 63 years, beloved wife of the late Archie McLean Ewing.  Adored mother of Leslie and her husband Gord Killops, Brent and his wife Annalea Ewing.  Cherished grandmother of Liam, Emily, Rory and Aiden. Loving daughter of Frederick and the late Mary Cooling.  Dear sister of Freddie, Joan and Bill.  Fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.  Lynda will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.  A private family memorial service to be held.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Southlake Regional Health Care Centre Foundation, Cancer Unit, 596 Davis Drive, Newmarket  L3Y 2P9 would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
