Peacefully, at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Brampton, on Friday January 27, 2012, Lucy Heaton, in her 89th year, wife of Albert.
Loving mother of Paul, Ralph (deceased), Heather, David and his wife Shelly, Sharon and her husband Wesley Shepherd. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Michael, Lisa, Keith, Charlene, Dakota, Emily, and Angela. Fondly remembered by her three great-grandchildren.
At her own request cremation has taken place. A private interment service will take place in the spring. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Dufferin Chapter, 204 -21 Surrey Street West, Guelph N1H 3R3 (www.heartandstroke.ca/donate) would be appreciated by the family.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. With growing up in Alton I knew the family well. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Bob and Maryanna Colquhoun.
Lucy, You will be missed more than you will ever know. I have been in this family for over 10 years and you treated me like your own. You were an amazing woman, you reminded me of my Grandma so much. Your life was not easy, but you made it through. I love you very much and want you to know that you touched my heart and that is where you will stay forever. Rest in Peace you sweet angel.
