Condolence from Carole MacInnes-Rae on May 29th, 2024 9:30 pm

I remember back in the early 70’s on any given weekend Louie would say to all the neighbours and friends in his backyard on Bairstow “let’s go to Ontario Place”. So we’d pile into one of his cars that always seemed to hold all of us and off we’d go. Our favourite haunt was The Oktoberfest Pub. We had so much fun dancing (no not Lou) and singing at the top of our lungs. The appeal of the pub (other than Lorna whom we’d all fallen in love with) was an entertainer named George Kash because he could drink a beer while standing on his head!
Oddly and out of the blue it came to my attention that sadly he also just passed away. I think it’s only fair to let George that he has a job up there and that is to be giving our Louie lessons because one by one we’re coming!
Miss you Lou

Our deepest heartfelt condolences to Lorna and the entire family on the passing of Lou. I have many fond memories of him when we were involved with the Bolton Wanderers Soccer club, so many years ago. He would always have a kind word
(Usually many more) to go along with that heart warming smile of his and even though we hadn’t seen each other in quite a few years he left ever lasting memories of some good times. May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal.
