I was shocked on the way into High Hills Courier yesterday to hear of Lorraine’s passing. Lorraine always kept a lid on things in the office, and yet did it with understanding and a great sense of humour. She will be missed by the drivers and staff. My heartfelt condolences to Roly, Gary and families in their loss.

Dear Roly ,Colleen, Gary and family

We were very sorry to hear about the passing of Lorraine. How sad for you. Lorraine always seemed to present her cheerful and attractive face to the world, even when we had heard that she had been unwell. Her energy and love of life are treasures you will hold in your hearts and speak to the children about. We are very sorry for your loss.

Condolence from Don & Jan MacPherson on October 17th, 2012 8:37 pm

Dear Roly, Gary, Colleen and families,

We were saddened to hear of Lorraine’s passing. We know that words cannot express or console the immediate families with her passing, even though it was expected. She put up a gallant fight against the disease that ravaged her body.

Lorraine had all the good qualities of life, strong, pleasant and friendly. No matter how gloomy the day or the situation she always had time for everyone.

We will miss her terribly on our next visit to Ontario

Don & Jan
