My condolences to Lorraine’s family. She was a wonderful woman, a gifted educator, so supportive of her students. My three children, Ben, Jocelyn and Ian, were all fortunate enough to have been in Lorraine’s Grade One classes at Clark. We all hold very dear memories of Ms. Lindsay! I was lucky enough to form a friendship with her and was blessed often by her words of wisdom. Her hugs spoke volumes and her smile warmed your heart. 🙂 Prayers going up for her and for all of you.

I was so sorry to hear of Lorraine’s passing. I had the privilege of working with her in her classroom at Clark Blvd. Public School for many years.
We shared many humorous moments as we encouraged her Grade One students in learning to read and write.
Lorraine often shared stories of her grandchildren with her class.
It was evident that she was a very proud Grandmother.
Her wide smile will be missed.

Condolence from Nancy Harris on October 13th, 2011 10:21 am

When I think of Lorraine, I first remember all the happy times with my cousins at the Lindsay farm. Then there was the beautiful woman she became. She was loved and will be missed by many but I know she is smiling, her sweet, caring smile, from heaven, on all her loved ones. Although I can’t be with you to-day, my thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

With love,

Nancy (Howard) Harris
