How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?
When you closed your eyes and soared
to the Heavens I could hear the
faint flutter of you wings as you left.
Your body no longer on this side
your spirit here eternally I see your halo shine.
I close my eyes and see the multi-colored wings
surround me in my saddest moments and my happiest times.
Mother my angel God has given you your assignment
always my mother forever my angel.
You fly into my dreams and when I am asleep
I feel your wings brush against my face wiping away
the tears I shed since I can no longer hold
you in my arms but in my heart.
You earned those wings dear mother
and you will always be me angel eternal.

Dear Victor and Virginia. Lois was one powerful Woman. You were blessed to have her as a mom. She was so classy! And so literate….the two of you were the jewels in her crown.

There have been many beautiful memories of Lois through-out my whole life. I was the younger cousin who enjoyed her calm, thoughtful and youthful personality. Lois was fun but very wise. She inspired and was devoted to her students through-out her many years of teaching. Lois was great mother, guiding her own children to attain their goals. Dear Virginia and Victor,
Lois was a dear friend whom I am grateful to have known. Lois gave me a sense of belonging – she treated me like a daughter; she made me feel loved. Lois was kind-hearted, thoughtful and witty. She could always make me laugh! I miss you with all of my heart my dear friend.

He has spoken fondly of her and told some stories of her over the years. By the sounds of things she was an amazing person. To Virginia and Victor,

My sincere condolences on your mother’s passing. I left a message a few days ago but it did not appear. I will be holding you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow and in the days ahead. As you know I never met Lois nor Victor come to that but I certainly know and respect Virginia. I know of the kind and loving care you gave your mom so clearly she was an amazing woman. Those I have known who knew all speak with great respect. I will remember you all and her at mass this week.
