Condolence from Glen & Christina Early on November 11th, 2025 4:56 pm

Carolyn, Bryan and Cathy and families-

So sorry and so shocked to hear of Lloyd’s passing. He was a special person who could combine a dry sense of humour mixed in with a lot of common sense. A great boss of mine for a couple of summers back in ‘83/‘84. I feel so fortunate to have been able to chat with him on a visit all the way up to Bryan’s farm, just last month. He seemed real good that day as we spoke about farm and collectible auctions of the past … some good, some not worth attending! He spoke of being very proud of the strength his family and the farming operation on Chinguacousy Road and also how Caledon has changed so much in one generation.
He’ll be missed in the community.

Carry On, Lloyd. Rest in Peace.

Glen & Christina Early

Our heartfelt condolence to the whole Cook family for the loss of their father. Lloyd worked his whole life, a life well lived and shared. He was a good friend to my family with advice and a helping hand and shared experiences. So much knowledge and dry wit to boot. We saw him and the family at Swiss Chalet 2 weeks ago, very fortunate to have known him.
God bless.

Condolence from Said Mikhail on November 12th, 2025 6:26 pm

Our sincere condolences to the family. I got to know Lloyd for very short period of time; just these last few summer months where I sometime sat with him on the front porch chatting and enjoying tons of knowledge in his field, his wisdom and his dry wit that always took me few seconds to understand the context. Lloyd was very helpful and generous to me. He will definitely be greatly missed.
Rest in peace Lloyd

Condolence from Jim McKay on November 21st, 2025 10:37 am

My condolences to the entire family on Lloyd’s passing. I got to know Lloyd and Barb at the auctions but I had heard of his successful farming career long before that. He was always in a good mood, knowledgeable about many things and a well respected man by all who knew him. Enjoyed our conversations in person and recent years on the phone and I’m sure when he meets up with his beloved wife Barb they’ll be looking for a good auction to attend. Rest in Peace you will be missed.

Condolence from William Morton (Bill) on March 14th, 2026 2:38 pm

it was a bit of a shock to realize that Lloyd had passed. He and Barbara before were constant figures at the auctions we frequented. Both kind and always friendly. Lloyds sense of humor will be missed. we hope Carolyn and the family are doing well. All our best,
