Condolence from Linda Johnston on November 9th, 2025 5:04 pm

When I was in grade 10 my family moved to Caledon East. At my new school the homeroom teacher asked the class who lived in Caledon East and who would show the new girl, me, around the school and which bus to take to and from school. Linda put her hand up and that started a friendship that has spanned 57 years and becoming best friends. Over that time we have been through life’s ups and downs, had many conversations, so many good times together, made memories, drank a lot of tea and had a lot of laughter. Rest in peace Linda, I will miss you dear friend.
Condolences to Jason and family and Heather.
With love, Linda Johnston

Condolence from Nancy and Glen Broad on November 16th, 2025 6:45 pm

Dear Jason, Heather and family,
The Watt Family has been well known to us for a very long time. Many years ago, when Austin and Dorothy Chamberlain lived on the 10th Concession, on the farm next door to Mae Watt, we were next door farm neighbours. Interestingly, Mae Watt’s facility was the host for our, Glen and Nancy’s wedding reception many, many years ago.
Whenever we encountered Linda it was a great, friendly opportunity to get caught up with the activities of her and our children. We are so very saddened to learn of her passing.
Jason and our son Jonathan were great childhood buddies.

We send our sincere condolences to the family.

Nancy and Glen Broad
