Suddenly at Humber River Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 25, 2014, Lidio Mazzotta, in his 72nd, year, beloved husband of Maria. Cherished father of Jelsy, Sue and Rick, Lidia and Anthony. Devoted grandfather of Marcelo, Claudio, Alexia, Zachary, AJ, Natalie and Ashley. Dear brother of Frank, Filomena, Maria, Elena, Carmela and Paul.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Wednesday morning, October 29 at 11 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 10:45 a.m.). Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Lidio – and your entire family – have always treated us like family so we were profoundly saddened to hear of his death. It’s clear to all who knew him how much he loved you all and how he took every opportunity to enjoy life. Lidio’s legacy will be measured by just how many of us were touched by his kindness and his caring. You are very lucky to have made many incredible memories with him which will sustain you in the days that come. In the meantime we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
We were very saddened to hear of Lido’s passing and wish to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family.
We will always remember Li as a remarkable friend, his kindness, his helpfulness, his caring approach and his enthusiasm touched our lives. We will always keep fond memories.
