Leila Bock (nee Tapanainen) passed away peacefully on Friday evening, December 15th, 2023 at the Davis Centre in Bolton, in her 78th year.  Her son Hans was by her side when she passed.  She will be missed by her family, Hans (Julie), her grandchildren Grace and Calvin (Rebecca), her sisters Laila, Merja, Maritta and her brothers Rauno and Keijo. A creative, determined business women until recently, Leila loved jazz music, her flower gardens and pets. 

The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life to be scheduled early in the new year.  In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to be made to either Parkinson’s Canada ( https://www.parkinson.ca/ ), the Alzheimer Society of Canada ( https://alzheimer.ca/en/about-dementia/other-types-dementia/lewy-body-dementia ) or the Canadian Cancer Society ( https://cancer.ca/en/ ).
