Born February 1, 1921 in Adjala Township, Simcoe County and passed away peacefully in Shelburne Residence, Shelburne on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Layis was the beloved wife of the late Thomas James Hansen who predeceased her on January 3, 1979 in Toronto and will be greatly missed by her much loved chosen family of Bryon and Joyce Fluney of Barrie and their family of LeeAnn; Laurie and her son Liam Dwyer; Wayne and AnnMarie Fluney and their children Kierstin, Courtney and Dylan.
