Condolence from Paul & Marina Irwin on September 1st, 2014 12:44 pm

When my wife and I attended Lorna Zeigler’s wedding in the late 70’s I wore my new bright yellow suit with a frilly shirt, feeling pretty sharp. Everyone I met was affable and some even said ‘nice suit’. After the ceremony we were amidst the crowd standing on the church steps. I said “hello Lawrie” and grinning, he replied; “ You look like Big Bird”. We still kill ourselves laughing and can’t recall that story without thinking fondly of Lawrie.
We are sorry that Lawrie was taken so early. We will miss him. Sending all of you our love and condolences. Paul & Marina Irwin

My sympathies for your loss. I have fond memories of the fun we cousins had as kids on Sunday afternoons at the Lindsey farm. Lawrie, as the eldest, was often the ringleader and there was lots of laughter. With my sincere condolences.

Condolence from Gary and Blanche Beda ( Tomelin) on September 4th, 2014 12:02 pm

Kim, Harold and Neal. I was sad to hear about Lawrie. Since Lawrie was one of the oldest 1st cousins and I was the 2nd youngest, I always remembered him as an “adult” Even so he always had time to talk to us even when we were kids when we visited. I was always amazed at the conversations he and dad would have. Since we moved west 20 years ago, I have not had an opportunity to see him lately. But I will remember his constant smile and happy go lucky manner.

God took him too young, but now he is at peace.

Blanche Beda (Tomelin)

God Bless.
