Peacefully with his wife by his side, at Haliburton Hospital, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, Lawrence Barron, in his 84th year, beloved husband of Marilyn Barron. Loving father of Leonard (deceased), Lisa (Rick), Tim (Barb), and Lawrence (Elissa). Proud grandfather of Michael (Ashley), Colby, Tori, Elijah, and Madison. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 27 at 2 o’clock.

Followed by cremation.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation, P.O. Box 1413, 7199 Gelert Road, Haliburton K0M 1S0.

Uncle Lawrence was a great man. He had a lot to say with few words at times but his words always had meaning to me. His sence of humour was pretty good too. He will be missed but his stories will live on.
