To Paul, Stephan and Matthew,

What a lovely lady! Lauren always helped me as a volunteer at Ellwood Memorial Public School. She was such a proud mom of her two terrific sons – Matthew and Stephan. She was quiet, unassuming and so kind to everyone she met. My heart goes out to you and she will certainly be missed.

Condolence from Ron & Lynne Zeraldo on September 5th, 2016 3:59 pm

It is with great sadness & loss to learn of Laurene’s passing. Our association with Laurene started over 37 years ago when I met her husband Paul while working at Imperial Oil. Our common interest & passion for classic sports cars quickly made us friends & shortly thereafter began a personal relationship & socializing with families. Laurene was always quick to pick up the phone & invite Lynne & the boys over for a swim in the pool while the husbands were hard at work. My boys always looked forward to going to the Seguins because they felt welcome & enjoyed the company of Mathew & Stephen & the neat sports cars that they had in the garage.
Laurene was a beautiful person always kind, gentle & loving. She had a passion for gardening & I remember the most beautiful & well maintained gardens that Laurene worked at maintaining & Paul telling me about the flowers that she was growing in the basement over winter ready for early spring planting.
A great Mother, Wife & Friend she was…we will greatly miss her & will always have her in ours mind & heart.
The Zeraldo’s (Ron, Lynne, Zack & Mack).

To Paul Matt and Stephen:
Your Mom as Ken said was a wonderful support of Ellwood and a very caring Mom of her two sons!
She was also for the Hawkins’ Family a good friend and dear friend of Matt’s as he played with Ian.
Our sincere condolences to all of you at this time.
We will remember all the good times we shared with her .
