I cannot begin to express how sad I was to hear of Kristy’s passing. Please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers daily over the last couple of weeks and will continue to be for a very long time. I know how much your beautiful daughter and sister will be missed and may you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

I haven’t been this shocked since the sudden passing of Donna Hunt. I am just one of Kristy’s many teachers from Ellwood Memorial P.S. who remembers this lovely blond, quiet fun-loving, and kind student. What a loss at such an early age and to hear from some of her many classmates, the Manions, Laderoutes, and Worselys- it is indeed touching. You have my deepest sympathies and Kristy will be missed.

I was 13 years old when Kristy was born. I remember kidnapping Kristy for tea parties, taking her to Disney World for her 13th birthday, and watching her grow up. She wasn’t just my cousin, she was the little sister I never had. When Kristy entered a room it was like the sun shone extra bright. She was always cheerful, loving and a little goofy.
