I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Michael. We attended GDHS together and I will always remember him as being a kind hearted gentleman. My deepest condolences to you all.

Mike was one of my best friends in university. He was Kinnon to all of us, and I liked him and his name so much, I planned to name my first born son Kinnon. Of course my wife and I have three daughters, no sons. We’ll always have this Kinner: ‘criticism bounces off us’. To Jenn I wish peace and strength. It must be so hard. Mike’s passing has left me with such deep sorrow.

I reported into Mike for almost a year at TJX and learned so much from him in such a short period of time. He was truly a great mentor and leader – someone who made a lasting imprint on my professional life.

He always spoke so fondly of his wife Jenn, and his two dear children – Ryan and Theresa. You could immediately tell that he was the best husband and father. My sincere condolences goes out to them, and the rest of his family.

I was saddened to hear the news of Mike’s passing. I had the pleasure of spending many early mornings at the hockey rink with Mike and Ryan. Mike was always friendly and willing to help whenever he could. I have many fond memories of him helping on ice at practice and on the bench, opening a door and always encouraging the players. He was always on top of things and we had many great discussions about PEC and the cottage life.
