I am so sorry that you have lost Kim. This lady stepped into the hardest role ever- that of your step mom. She assumed this role with grace and poise and embraced and loved you. Co- parenting is not an easy journey and many fall short of accepting and enjoying the responsibility. Kim was an exception and given the choice I could not have chosen a better step mom to help shepherd my children through life’s journey. I am saddened by her passing. I cannot put into words how heartbreaking it was to hear the news of Kim’s passing. Kim and I met at Ideal Metals so many years ago and it wasn’t long before we became each other’s cheerleaders. Through the great times and not so great times, Kim was always a constant in my life. We shared so many amazing memories together… from going to the Buffalo Bills game on the Bud bus; and being together when the Blue Jays won the world series twice; or just getting together to catch up about each other’s lives and share a laugh over a glass of wine. Kim has a way of lighting up a room with her warmth and infectious smile that made everyone feel comfortable around her. Not only was Kim beautiful on the outside, but she was also beautiful on the inside as well. She loved life and had such a positive outlook. Kim was a warrior at heart and one of the bravest women I knew. She would face any challenge head on and do it with such grace. I cannot imagine a world without Kim in it and I am blessed to have been able to call her my friend. I am deeply saddened for your loss Scott and Amanda and I wish you and your family all the love and support you will need to get through this. xoxo

I am very saddened to have just seen this news of Kim’s passing. I happened to be on this site and saw this sad news. My thoughts and healing prayers go out to Scott and the family. Kim came to my yoga classes several years ago and I grew to know her sweet spirited energy, her beautiful smile would light up the room and she was a lovely neighbour to know. I will never forget she used to pass over phone messages to me as she inherited our original number when she moved into the community. We laughed over this! May she be forever at peace and the family cherish all the fondest of memories of this amazing lady.
