With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Kathleen Barnett in her 83rd year on Saturday, February 11, 2006. ﾠDevoted and loving wife of Barney for 13 days shy of 60 years. ﾠDear mother and mother-in-law of Ann and David Love, Will and Fran Barnett, Jane and Jim Drake, and Ian and Judy Barnett. ﾠSweet Granny Kay to Melanie, Jennifer, Adrian Love, Luke Racine, Mark Salmoni; Gregory, Patrick Barnett; Stephanie, Brian, Madeline Drake; and Andrea, Brianna, Natalie and Hilary Barnett. ﾠGreat-GK to Olivia and Mason. ﾠAll who knew her were warmed by her friendship, gentleness, humour, loving smile and soup. ﾠShe was always a gracious hostess to generations of medical residents and researchers. ﾠIn life, she never spoke an unkind word. ﾠHer many fine qualities will forever inspire family and friends. ﾠNobody was ever more selfless. ﾠShe lived and walked in beauty. ﾠThe family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S.
