I am so very, very sorry about Karie. She is now at peace as the Angels surround her and comfort her. Her brilliant laugh (and smile) will always be cherished and remembered. Her journey in life may have been shorter than we all expected, but at least we were all part of it. I miss her so much already, but the passage of time will help heal us all. I will never forget my talks with Karie and meeting up with her as she waited for the bus and her precious daughter, Mia. She was a beautiful, generous person. When I needed a ride to bring my grandchildren to me, she did not hesitate.
