At Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, June Thompson, Bolton, in her 73rd year. Loving mother of the late Randy Beard. Dear daughter of the late Willis and Florence Thompson. Dear sister of Leone and Tony (deceased) Zerafa, Robin and Eleanor Thompson, Stephen (deceased) and Lorna Thompson, Heather and Robin (deceased) McKee, Esther (deceased) and John Van Es, Dawn and Garnet (deceased) Case, Cheryle and Jay Debney. Devoted friend of Marilyn Clapp. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday evening from 6 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 10 at 3:30 o’clock. Followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, 1400-522 University Avenue, Toronto M5G 2R5 or the Salvation Army, 9395 Bramalea Road, Brampton L6S 4B7. Our hearts go out to June’s family and her many friends, and in particular Marilyn. Lets us always remember June’s laugh and her love of life.

It was so sad to hear of my Mother’s passing on Christmas Day by an email message on facebook through a friend of my deceased father.
Then to read the announcement to see that I was not mentioned or her 3 Grand children was even more upsetting. 8 months after she had died. It was upsetting but now I have come to realize that there are many cruel and thoughtless people in this world. My brother (Randy Beard died in 1980 by suicide and he was mentioned but I am alive and I was not. I hope that this never happens to another person.
