Condolence from Deborah Ward on September 30th, 2025 10:41 am

Brennen, Chad, Elise, Jack and Thomas:
My heart is breaking . Our Jules was an incredible warrior and fought to stay as long as she could for the ones she loved. She remained focused and positive right until the end. Jack and Thomas were her world and I’m so thankful she could celebrate their September birthdays. I’m also grateful for the memories we were able to make with her since her diagnosis ; PEI, Florida and Scotland, our dear lunches and daily/weekly texting. Our lives will feel empty without her yet more enriched because she was part of them. Nema will always be with us. Love Deborah (and Randy)

On behalf of the Tripps, I would like to express condolences to Brennen, Chad, The Oakley Family and The Hutton Family. I first met Julie through my longtime friendship with Paul Hutton, Julie’s brother. Julie was a fierce competitor in her battle against cancer. Julie enjoyed family, friends, retirement, travel, exotic places, fine food and her passion for coaching and playing the game of curling, among her many other interests. I know she will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to call Julie, their “Friend”.

Please accept my deepest condolences.

I will miss my dear friend Jules and all the great travels and laughs we had together. I’ll especially miss our weekly sharing of the latest news, hearing cute stories about the grandkids and planning our next adventure or get together.

Julie lived a very full and active life. She had a great many talents and I admired her tenacity, her sense of fellowship and community, her talents on the golf course and in the kitchen, her organizational and leadership skills in business, at the curling club and when coaching her curling kids. Julie also showed great caring and kindness to those going through challenging times.

Julie had a tremendous fighting spirit and tried to stay here with everyone for as long as possible. But now she is at peace and leaves everyone she touched with long lasting love and memories. Rest easy my friend. ❤️
