In Memorial

Peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, Joseph Williamson, Kleinburg, at the age of 91 years, beloved husband for 60 years of Mary Williamson. Loving father of June (Nino) and Neil (Sue). Cherished grandfather of Baritte Rose Williamson and Martina Castelli. Joe was born in Bellshill, Scotland and grew up in the loving company of his brothers and sisters, Peggy Hamilton (Robert), Jimmy Williamson (Bridie), Dick Williamson (Sadie), Rea Lennox (Jimmy), Anne Arthur (Ken McClymont and the late Ken Arthur). Fondly remembered by his in-laws Iris and John Russell, Carol and Bob Allan, Elizabeth McFarlane and his many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Mary, my sincere condolences to you and your family.I only knew Joe through meeting him on his daily walks.My husband Bob and I enjoyed stopping and chatting with Joe.He always had such a positive attitude and was so informative on many subjects.He was a charming man and I shall miss meeting him “out and about in the village’. Dear Aunty Mary
All our thoughts are with you , Neil,June & all the family, at this sad time.
We have so many fond memories of “ma Uncle Joe”.
– fae the early mornin walks he went wen he wis hame – tae the funny stories he used ti tell me – “the singin roon the mulberry bush wi wee Hayley” and “who scootered the peas doon Kenneth McKellar’s throat”.
We will all miss him very much. A great man sadly missed.
