Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Saturday, December 26, 2009, Jerry Callahan, Caledon, in his 87th year, beloved husband of Doris Hart.  Loving father of Stephen Callahan, Cathy and her husband Don Gillespie, Russ Callahan (deceased).  Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Sarah, Andrea and Sam, Matthew, and Christa.  Also survived by his brothers Gerald and Leo Callahan of Nova Scotia.  Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) Tuesday afternoon, December 29 from one o’clock until time of the funeral in the chapel at 3 o’clock.  Followed by cremation.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Dufferin Chapter, 204 – 21 Surrey St. W., Guelph N1H 3R3 or SickKids Foundation, 525 University Avenue, 14th Floor, Toronto M5G 2L3.  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
