I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. It has been a long time since I have seen you but I do remember quite well all the times that we were together at your house and mine.
Losing a parent no matter what age is a very sad.

Condolence from Mary O’Brien on May 27th, 2014 2:04 pm

Dear Pat & Brian and families. So sorry to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. My Godfather was a wonderful man, especially to that pesky youngest Watts kid! He always had a smile, or at least a twinkle in his eyes, and never minded being silly with any of us. I remember him and Mum playing leapfrog with a bunch of kids, and Aunty Dorothy and my Dad pretending they didn’t know them at all!
I think of them with a smile always, and figure there’s some huge euchre games up there in heaven! Christine Boyes asked to be remembered to you, too. Was saying Uncle Bob taught her to dance. A good life well lived. God Bless! MaryO

Condolence from Bev on May 28th, 2014 1:23 pm

Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

My thoughts are of how Uncle Bob made the old family reunions a great lot of fun, dancing and singing, so long ago. They were the best ever.

He always made you welcome at his home and had silly jokes to make you laugh. . He was a good man.. we were lucky to know him.

I will cherish my memories of him forever.

Bev

Years later and still on my mind, I will never forget the amazing person he was and I still remember most of the story he used to tell me when I was little, I wish I had seen him more and got to talked to him more, I wish I was not so detached from our family, I will always miss you Grampa, I never really got to know you like I should have.
