John Philip Partington, born on November 9, 1943 in Toronto, Ontario passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill at the age of 81.  Husband to Patricia for 55 years.  Father to Darryl and his partner Giselle, Erin and her husband Brad, and proud grandfather to Brandon and Jordan.

John was a resident of Kleinburg for 53 years.  He worked at Kodak Canada in Weston for 30 years.  He was a runner, gym enthusiast, tennis player, baseball player, curler, and hockey player.  John coached his son during Darryl’s hockey and baseball careers.  Then went along on a canoe trip with the Scouts on the French River.

John loved his 2 grandsons and always looked forward to seeing them.  A special highlight was a family trip to Disney World in 2012.  He looked after his wife till the very end making sure all finances were in order to make life simple for Pat.  Thank you John.

Cremation has taken place.

I was so sad to hear of John’s passing……he was a quiet man with a wonderful warm smile.
