Peacefully at Maple Villa, Burlington, on Monday, October 26, 2015, John Marshall Scott, in his 95th year, beloved husband of the late Sonya (Tony) Scott. Loving father of the late John Robert (Robin) Scott and James (Jay) Scott. Dear father-in-law of Brenda Scott. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Anne, and Thomas. Adored great-grandfather of Lori. Dear brother of Don and predeceased by Bun. The family would like to thank Jack’s farm neighbours and the Bolton community for all of the support and friendship.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday, November 2 from one o’clock until time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m.

It saddens me to see the passing of another old “Orenda” name. We did not work in the same department, but he had a desk close by when I first joined the company in 1966. My thoughts are with his family.

John was a true gentlemen, Many years ago we had the pleasure of helping bring in the hay and enjoyed dinner with John and Toni. We learned alot from him, So sorry for your loss. R.I.P John.
So sorry to hear of Uncle Jacks passing. He was a wonderful man. We know how much he is going to be missed by all who knew him. Prayers go out to all of you.
