Suddenly, at home, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, John James Matheson, at the age of 49 years. Loving son of the late Leo and Donna Matheson. Dear brother of Tom Matheson.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday evening 6 to 8 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning, March 4th at 10 o’clock. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge.

John “Jumbo” was a great person. I had the pleasure of sharing a football field with him, attending school and connecting up on Midland. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news, just too soon. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace
