I’ll really miss John. For over 10 years, John would come to the pharmacy weekly, and I would always enjoy our chats, sometimes about The Maple Leafs, or current events. He really was one of the best people I have ever known.

Sonya, I wanted to let you know my thoughts and my prayers are with you and your family during this extremely difficult time. I know that there is nothing I can say that will ease your pain but I just wanted you to know that I thought your dad was an amazing man. He was the kind of man people always wanted to be around. He was always so happy and his love for you was written all over his face whenever he talked about you.

Fitting. The funeral on the day the Leafs open training camp. You know he’s up there laughing at us because we have to endure another crappy hockey season & he knows he checked out just in time. My heart goes out to you and your family. While I only met him that one time at your wedding he left a lasting impression. You could have read by his smile that day. His love for you shone through that day.

Our condolences to John’s family. We were so sorry to read in the Toronto Star newspaper this morning that John had passed away.
If we had of known sooner Fred would have been at the funeral today. We were glad that we had lunch with John last month in Orangeville.

David, Erin and I are so sorry for your loss. Losing a cherished loved-one is never easy but, knowing that he is in a better place and will always look down upon you, makes the passing easier. He will always be in your hearts and in your fondest memories. He was a well-loved father and grandfather and you are both a tribute to him.

John was a kind man who loved his girls very much. When I would ask him about his daughters his eyes would glow with love and pride just to think of you all. He knew that family was important and loved you all. I loved the photo of Kurtis with is grandfather! You could see the love in both their faces. His passing leaves a void in all our hearts. He is missed by many people and we mourn with you all. Hildegard, Christine, Doris Sonya and Kurtis: you and your families are all in my thoughts and prayers. None of us will ever forget John. Remember the good times! I am sure there were many!

Though I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Hutter personally, I am fortunate enough to know his daughter Sonya. Seeing her bright light tells me a lot about what kind of father Mr. Hutter was. I know he will be remembered fondly.

What makes a person’s life a success is his impact on those he touched. Fond family memories, lessons learned by his kids under his tutelage, the comfort of hugs for his daughters when needed and stories for grandchildren will allow John to live on. Condolences to the entire family.
