John was our accountant for many many years as we started our business here in Belleville. We grew to know and appreciate John, his attention for detail, his thoroughness and his dry sense of humor! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of loss. He will be missed.

John and Ruby Lewars always had their doors open to their family and friends. They never knew when they would have to feed and contain an unruly bunch running rampant through their house, pool
and refrigerator.
John was a quietly humorous, intelligent, gentle man.
If you had an issue, you could always count on John to give you the correct bottom line in his wry fashion.
John was also known as Jack, I would always wait until I heard which he was known as that day before using his name.
My good friend Barb brought me to visit the Lewars in Belleville lo these many years ago. I didn’t realise how quickly I’d be adopted into the family and crew. Camping, boating, all the barbeques and
accommodation, wonderful memories of a lifetime.
John and Ruby were always there for everyone.
God Bless them both, now that they’re together again.
