Passed peacefully in his sleep with his family around him at his home on May 5, 2015, John Dean, at the age of 81 years, beloved husband of Jean. Dear father of Gareth, and Sharon. Loving Pappa of Liam, Cheyenne, Dylan, Morgan, and Ethan. He leaves behind is sister Carol and her husband Doug, and his brother-in-law Michael. Special thank you to the caregivers Pat, Carol, and Olu.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday, May 12 for a memorial reception from 2 – 4 o’clock.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Canada, 3000 Steeles Avenue East, Suite 200, Markham L3R 4T9.

I was very sad to hear of John’s passing. He was a gentle soul who always had a smile and a kind word for me. I was always deeply grateful that he gave me a job once when I was just out of high school. He always kept an eye out for me, and I never forgot it. Rest easy dear sir.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. I remember the good time we all had on the Alaskan cruise. Time will heal. My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your Family.

We have had a friendship with you for 50years I cannot list all the things we have done, cruises trips to Montreal , I could go on and on. Rest in peace. Till we meet again..Joyce

I was saddened to hear of John’s recent passing. My deepest sympathy Jean and Family during this time and as you continue the journey of grief and mourning. I have very fond memories of John and always appreciated my conversations with him. My thoughts are with you. Elaine
