Condolence from Diana Ivancic on September 1st, 2016 11:19 am

To my dear friend Shannon Curtis, You have been my friend for a very long time and as a young girl I visited your home quite often. Your father, Mr. Curtis, (as I called him) always greeted me with a smile. He would be sitting in the living room in his chair just relaxing reading a paper or watching some tv. He was still working then and many times I saw him in a uniform of sorts. All blue? I am not sure. All I know is that I thought he was very kind. He had wonderful white hair. He looked like an old movie star. He was quiet and didn’t say too much to us. He just let us go about our business, being silly teenagers and then 20 some-things. Your home was always a warm place and your parents made it that way as did you. I was grateful to have met Mr. Curtis. May peace be upon him. I know you and your family will always live with him in your hearts.
Love to you all.
Diana

though your dad may be physically gone the wonderful memories you have are forever. May you find peace in the knowledge that he loved you deeply and would have wished to stay longer. He is proud of you and the person you are, know this and carry that knowledge close. I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your family.
