Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and many friends at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, October 11, 2013, Joe Keimel, Caledon East, beloved husband of Lynn Keimel. Loving Dad of Dylan. Dear son of Willi and Kathy Keimel. Dear brother of Chris and Ken West. Fondly remembered by his family and friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday evening 7 – 9 o’clock and on Saturday, October 19 from one o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Headwaters Health Care Foundation, 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville L9W 4X9. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com
My dear friend. I will so miss your devilish grin, and your courageous “throw caution to the wind” ferver. My wonderful dreamer, I will not forget our friendship over the years, and I pray that your family and friends will draw on the laughter and love you blessed us with as medicine for healing.

I met Joe and Dylan through Kathy. Though very briefly, his kindness and strength was obvious as a man and as a father. The world is better because of Joe. Rest in peace, Joe.

Although I haven’t seen Joe before, I’ve heard his cheerful voice when he called his wife Lynn in the office. Will miss “the better half” of Lynn.
Saddened to hear the news of Joe’s passing. He continues to be one of the most accommodating and helpful gentleman we have ever met.
We were so saddened to hear of the passing of your loving husband and wonderful dad. Any time I met him he always had a smile on his face.

We are so sorry about your loss and was so sad to hear the news. Joe was an amazing man and so funny, kept us laughing all the time we saw him. My last memory of Joe was him joking around with me before I went away for the weekend and his devilish grin as he waved to us girls getting in the car. Dylan and Lynn you have been in my thoughts, heart and prayers all week, you both are just as strong as Joe was. Rest In Peace Joe, you will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Joe was a wonderful person as well as a wonderful father. I will miss his humor with the funniest being the Sunday morning he showed up at my door to pick up Dylan. I said Joe he never stayed here last night. He was quick to reply that he was only doing what he was told I will keep looking,,,,,,,,He will be missed Rest in peace and keep strong as possible Lynn and Dylan.

We remember Joe as someone who helped build our home. His attention to detail and friendly manner made working with him a pleasure. He always had a smile and a kind word, truly a gentleman.
He will be missed.
