Peacefully at her home in Georgetown, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, Joanne Ellen Thompson, at the age of 71, beloved wife of Alan Thompson. Loving daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Marsh. Mother to Gregory Robert Marsh and beloved Grandmother to Hunter Morton-Marsh.
The family gathered for a graveside service at Nobleton Community Cemetery on Tuesday, November 3 at 1 o’clock.

Joanne comforted us back in high school after Sharon died in the car accident.
She was so kind . Rest in peace.
My condolences to Joanne’s family. I wish you healing and peace at this sad time. I knew Joanne from a young age but grew apart as we got older. I recently heard from her when I posted a picture on the Schomberg facebook page. She was a wonderul person.
