Your Mom was a great lady, I have fond memories of Joanne she always had a smile and a quick chat when I picked up my bus trips for the next week. I remember some of the fun things she did for us drivers, a party in Campbell’s Cross hall, a bus buffet at the Pope’s visit in Downsview in pouring rain, I was asked to join Wilson’s baseball team we played against other bus companies I had never played baseball before, I still have the tee shirt. Joanne was a lovely person.

When traveling home from Florida Joanne would bake us homemade cookies to snack on the way. It was always a pleasure to catch up with each other on our annual Christmas phone calls.

I have many wonderful memories with visits, dinners and cards. Just a few weeks ago I enjoyed a visit with her as we reminisced about fun times in the south.

I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Joanne’s passing. She was truly a lovely lady, inside and out. I have such fond memories of going to the old place in Snelgrove. Smimming in Lorne & Joanne’s inground pool with dozens of cousins was such summertime fun. The many noisy games of Pit made the Wilson Family Christmas gatherings one of highlights of the holiday season. Auntie Jo’s warmth and friendliness will be missed, but not forgotten.
