I was saddened to read of Joan’s death. She was such a happy sincere individual. Although I haven’t seen Joan for a few years I will always remember our good times involved with guiding and other volunteer work in the community around our children. Joan had so many friends all over town.

We have so many good memories of past events with Joan. John especially remembers with great fondness the years he was in the Caledon Community Singers of which she was the leader. So sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. I knew Joan many years ago through Guiding and remember her as a warm, hard working woman with a wonderful sense of humour, who gave much of herself for the young girls of our community. Our family also enjoyed many Caledon Community Singers concerts at Christmas time where Joan shared another one of her amazing gifts with all of us. Caledon has lost a very special person. She will be missed.
